This workshop will review advanced Parkinson's disease management with a focus on the Vyalev® subcutaneous levodopa infusion pump. Through multiple clinical case studies, participants will explore the benefits of continuous dopaminergic therapy, common complications including infusion-site skin infections, and the impact of treatment on cognitive function. Emphasis is placed on nursing assessment, patient education, early complication recognition, and evidence-informed strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
